In January 2020, I attended a fieldschool in southern California where we headed to both the desert and sea. We studied outcrops in the Anza-Borrego Desert outside of Borrego Springs as well as outcrops along the beaches near San Clemente and La Jolla.
In February 2020, I spent my 40th birthday running the Napa Valley Half Marathon followed by wine tasting with some of my favorite people.
