This piece was my final work for Painting II. It is the compliment to my Feathers & Scales painting that inspired this collection. It’s another piece that combines multiple elements and bright colors where I can get lost amongst the details and textures. I merged the peacock and butterfly from previous paintings to represent the journey and transformation I’ve been on this past year. I took a one-year LOA from my career to reset, recharge and reflect. I hope to emerge with a new-found energy and balance, which is what this painting is meant to represent.
