In Photography II class I was introduced to the cyanotype which is a photographic printing process that produces blueprints. Cyanotype (aka SunArt) paper is sensitive to light and can be used to create images like the ones shown here. I made these using decorative butterfly window clings. The varying transparencies added a lot of detail and interest on the cyanotype.
This is also a great no-mess activity to do with kids.
